AI Applied

AI News, Tools & Analysis

Tight news breakdowns and hands-on tool analysis for people actually using AI at work — plus an occasional expert interview when the story calls for it.

About the show

What AI Applied is actually about

AI Applied goes deeper than the daily news cycle. Three times a week, co-hosts Jaeden Schafer and Conor Grennan — CEO of AI Mindset and former NYU Stern dean — unpack what AI news actually means for engineers, PMs, operators, and knowledge workers. Most episodes are tight 15–20 minute news-and-tools breakdowns: ranked deep-dives on Claude, Cursor, Lovable, and Replit; real stories from Fortune 100 AI training programs; honest coverage of security incidents like the Claude Mythos audit, AI voice-cloning scams, hiring and layoffs, and the politics of data-center moratoriums. A couple of times a month, they’ll bring on an outside expert for a proper interview. Pragmatic, sourced, and grounded in what’s actually shipping.

What we cover

  • Ranked deep-dives on the top AI tools — Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, Gemini, Lovable, Replit
